I very much feel the need to document my surroundings, every image I make is representative of a time and a place, but it's the decision to capture that moment which then creates the image.

Ben Heward is a North East based photographer who studied and gained his degree in the Northern Centre of Photography, Sunderland. His more personal work could be described as a documentation, capturing what he is seeing in a way he feels justified.
